An Iowa Field

Saturday morning I didn't suck it up and run outside after the hotel receptionist told me the outside temps were in the forties and very windy. Instead, I ran on the elliptical in the gym. Forty degrees and this body do not live in harmony with one another! 

The hotel gym had a great view and I saw a group of bicyclers riding by. If I were to brave that weather I would have to wear a full body suit (including face mask and goggles) and design some sort of breathing apparatus with heated air! 

We spent our day at the Mall of America. A day at this mall is a trip in and of itself. Our girls rode amusement park rides inside the mall for hours. 

At the end of the day we turned in the rental van at the airport in Minnesota and hopped a bus to Forrest City Iowa where we spent the night in our rv. 

We took possession of the RV, got all settled in to wait for orientation the next morning, then was up with a sick little one all night. 

Not much to report except we do want to acknowledge all the moms and hope this is your best Mother's Day ever! Many blessings to all moms! 

Internet has been sporadic so we will post when we can, mahalo for coming along with us on our rv adventure!
