Moving In with My Daddy

Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, (Psalm 92:13-14, NLT)

Recently, a girlfriend from high school posted a "throwback Thursday" picture of herself on her Facebook page. Her picture prompted me to post a throwback Thursday picture on my Facebook page.

As you can tell from the picture, life wasn't good for me at this point in my life.

However, nearing the end of my junior year of high school, I moved in with my daddy. Immediately, I was living in peace, love, and safety and I began to flourish.

As you can tell from the picture, my life immediately and drastically improved once I moved in with my Daddy.

The same holds true for my Heavenly Father. Once I received Jesus, and "moved" in with my Heavenly Father, old things passed a way and all things became new! (2 Corinthians 5:17) In that single "move" I crossed over out of darkness and into His marvelous light, into life in excessive abundance! (1 Peter 2:9, John 10:10) And now I spend my days telling of the wonderful goodness of God! (Psalm 100:5, 1 Corinthians 10:31) My best days are yet to come! (Jeremiah 29:11) I am planted in His house and according to His promises, I flourish! (Psalm 92:13)

The pictures above are taken only one year apart. What a difference a year can make once we move in with our Father!

What about you? Have you "moved" in with your Heavenly Father? If not, please feel free to comment below or email us at keytovblog@gmail.com and we can help you walk through that choice!

Father, thank You for calling me out of darkness and into Your marvelous light! Thank You for forgiving me, reconciling me back to You, thank You for restoring me and thank You for teaching me how to have a real, genuine relationship with You! I pray for every reader, that they would have the power to understand and personally know how wide, long, high and deep Your love truly is and how to personally walk in the closeness of a growing, changing, deepening, nurturing relationship with You Father! Thank You in advance for all the testimonies that will come forth from friends and family as they crossover into a deeper relationship with You daily!

Passenger Excitement!

For the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, NLT)

I always have so much fun traveling on inter-island flights between the Hawaiian Islands. The plane is always buzzing with excitement as tourists are amazed at being in Hawaii. Some people who come here have saved and waited for most of their lives just to visit the Hawaiian Islands. Some are staring and pointing out the windows at the beauty of paradise while others are looking over maps trying to get their bearings while others are busy asking locals questions wanting insider information.

It always prompts me to think about how exciting it is going to be when we see Jesus coming! Can you imagine that day? I sure can and think about it often! Some have waited most of their lives just to see Jesus coming from Heaven with a shout! Some will be staring and pointing at the awesomeness of Jesus while others try to get their bearings while others ask questions wanting information.

Every night when I go to bed, I think…"Well, Jesus didn't come today, hopefully we will see Him coming tomorrow." Jesus is coming soon! I shout, "Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!" (Revelation 22:20)

What will you do when you see Jesus coming down from Heaven with a shout? If I'm able, I want to dance like king David danced, but I may just stand still in awe. Until we see Him coming, may the grace of the Lord Jesus be with you! (Revelation 22:21)

Have you accepted Jesus? If not, I encourage you to receive Him now. He came so that we can have life and have it in excessive abundance! (John 10:10) Make the decision today to make Him Lord of your life! That's Heavy

For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. (Matthew 11:30, NKJV)

Today, I was in the kitchen and Mikea was standing near the trashcan talking to me. As I was cleaning, I picked up some things that needed to be thrown away. I threw them to Mikea for her to place in the trashcan.

She braced herself because she thought I was throwing something heavy. But once she caught the items, she smiled really big and said, "Oh…that's not heavy at all."

I believe that is exactly why some people tend to steer away from Jesus. Wrong thinking, bad teaching, and/or negative prior experience, may leave them thinking following Jesus is just too "heavy".

But once we experience Jesus, truly experience Him, we all learn…He really IS easy and light because in Him we live, move, and have our being! (Acts 17:28) He carries us! (Psalm 68:19) Folks, it's time to smile really big, let Jesus carry you, experience how easy and light He truly is!

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray against anything and everything that has ever risen up against every reader today. I thank You in advance for revealing Yourself to them. I thank You for showing them, you are so easy and light. Thank You for carrying us! Thank You for your redemptive work on the cross so that we can live life in excessive abundance! We receive it all by faith right now, in the name of Jesus!

If you've never received Jesus into your heart, or if you've prayed this prayer before but didn't really commit to Him, you can pray this simple prayer and start eternal life right now!

Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus, I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that You are God. I believe Jesus is Your Son, I believe He died for me, and on the third day, I believe You raised Him from the dead. I will never deny Him. I will never deny You. Thank You for calling me out of darkness, into Your marvelous light!
