Be Still AND Know

Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. (Psalm 46:10, NLT)

In our busy, busy world, we must be mindful to be still, really still. And know, really know,

He is God!

Last week Mike told me about a message he had just heard from Keith Moore at Faith Life Church in Branson, Missouri. We highly, HIGHLY suggest you listen to the message. We've been playing it at least once a day (some days, all day long) and it is a life changing, atmosphere improving, healing, revelation bringing, biblical based, message. As you can tell, we are extremely excited about this message!

For quick access to the message, follow the directions below:
  1. www.moorelifeministries.org
  2. at the upper right hand of the screen, click "Free downloads"
  3. click "search"
  4. in the search window (lower left of screen), type "Be still and know"
  5. click search
  6. click "Be still and know"
  7. you will find options for audio or video
I tried to attach a direct link but for some cyber reason, couldn't get it to work. If you follow the step by step directions, it is easy to locate.

The first thing that caught my attention about the teaching was when Brother Moore said, "We already know a lot of stuff." and "It's not what you know that changes your life, it's what you do." (James 1:22)

The second thing Brother Moore said that immediately caught my attention was when he discussed sounds are anointed. This is confirmation for me that is documented in a blog post at the link below.

If for some cyber reason that link does not work, you can find the blog post by googling, "Key Tov Blog True Worship".

Please get alone, make time to sit and listen, truly listen to, "Be Still and Know". And please listen in it's entirety, the longer it plays, the better it gets! If after listening to the message, if your life isn't changed, commit to listening to it everyday until your life is changed! You will be so thankful you did, it is a great investment in your life and the lives of all those you come into contact with.

Below are some snippets from Brother Moore in this teaching:
  • "I'm running my race."
  • "Not looking back."
  • "The enemy tries to hinder me. The Lord looks at him and laughs!"
  • "Gonna finish my course with joy!"
  • "It just keeps getting better and better!"
  • "Don't get tied up."
  • "No hurt can hold me down."
  • "Keep your place."
  • "I'm going all the way."

Thank You Father, for loving us so much and sending words in due season changing our lives forever! Thank You for teaching us how to worship You in spirit and in truth! Thank You for teaching us how to run this race with joy unspeakable! Thank You for allowing us to see You laugh! Thank You for teaching us how to laugh, a head thrown back, mouth opened wide, HA! HA! HA! Glory to Your wonderful name! All glory, praise, and thanks to You Lord God!

Success!

Last November, during a mainland trip to Missouri, we accompanied family and friends to the Sight and Sound Theatre in Branson and watched Joseph. The depiction of this classic was phenomenal!

Since that time, Joseph has been on my mind a lot. The bible tells us about the struggles Joseph faced. I wrote about that in a previous blog post, "In the Crack." You can read it at the link below.

http://keytovblog.blogspot.com/2013/01/in-crack.html

While studying Joseph, I also learned he:

  • Was successful in everything. (Genesis 39:3)
  • Was handsome and well built. (Genesis 39:6)
  • Shown faithful love by God. (Genesis 39:21)
  • Was the prison warden's favorite and successful in prison. (Genesis 39:23)
  • Was made ruler of Egypt, second only to the king. (Genesis 41:40)
  • Got married. (Genesis 41:45)
  • Became a father, twice. (Genesis 41:50)
  • Walked in unprecedented forgiveness. (Genesis 45:15)
  • Gave his family the best. (Genesis 45:18)

Did I mention, he went from prison to being second only to the king?
Joseph was so successful in everything he did because the Lord was with Him! (Genesis 39:2)

The Lord is with us too! (Zephaniah 3:17) As we study and meditate on His Word we will prosper and have good success! (Joshua 1:8 NLT)

My prayer for every reader today is to prosper as their soul prospers and to have good success in everything they set their hand to in the name of Jesus!

Please make this confession with me today!

Father God, I thank you for always being with me! I thank You for never leaving or forsaking me! Thank You for teaching me Your Word and giving me a heart to meditate on it day and night! It is because of You that I prosper in every area of my life! I thank You for my successful life, I know all good things comes from you!

Snippets

Behold, I give you all authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you. (Luke 10:19, NKJV)

I read something today that tempted me to get irritated. Please don't fall for stuff like the following snippet...it totally undermines the wonderful goodness of God.

"If you are going through something difficult, it's because God is preparing you for something great!”

There is one reason we go through something difficult. John 10:10 & Psalm 34:19.

However, the end result for us is the end of John 10:10 and Psalm 34:19 and that is this "But I have come to give you life in excessive abundance" and  "But God delivers us out of them all".

And by the way, God is ALWAYS preparing us for something great! Because He is great! He doesn't have to drag us through difficulties (Isaiah 5:20) to prepare us for greatness (2 Corinthians 2:14).

Another popular one is, "Everything happens for a reason." I can almost hear the long drawn out sigh before and after that statement.

Dr. Bill Hanshew addresses that very well. You can find his response at the link.

The point I'm trying to make is this...instead of putting our confidence in a not so cutesy saying, let's put our confidence in God's Word! (Hebrews 4:12), believe everything God said (Mark 11:22), and walk in our authority (Luke 10:19).
